History and vision

The company was founded in 1912 by G.T. Vestjens. G.T. Vestjens started as a forage dealer. In the 1950s the company passed to his sons, Jan and Matthieu.

From 1982, Jan and his own son Ger began to specialise in the processing of straw. Over the years, we have developed high-quality products which are supplied to customers throughout the Netherlands and beyond by means of an efficient distribution network. By listening attentively to our customers, we aim to anticipate and respond to their needs and wishes as effectively as possible. Like you, we know that the main priority is to produce pure, dust-free litters and feed that bring benefits in terms of performance and animal welfare.

We have invested heavily in fully-automated production lines equipped with advanced sieving techniques, mixers and dust removal processes. As a result, we are able to meet the ever higher standards that apply to animal feeds and litter materials. We are innovative in our outlook and regard continuous product development as crucial.

In the coming years we will also embrace the challenge of bringing new products on to the market.
